CorelDraw x7 Tutorial - Make Lens Effect

This time we are going to create a lens effect using CorelDraw x7. But using other versions of CorelDraw is also possible to create it.

Steps

1. When the CorelDraw application is open select new (ctrl + N).

2. Use the ellipse tool to make two circles. The function of the 2 circles is for the lens and the other for the periphery of the lens. Then add a small circle to the circle on the left, press shift + drag the end of the circle. Then click combine (ctrl+L). It's useful to select both circles then color them black.

3. Lens manufacturing process. Make 2 circles 1 small oval circle and one large circle. Then select the two objects, click the object menu > group > group object then give it a white color.

4. Insert the lens that is the circle on the right into the black circle. Select the two circles, don't forget to press E so that they are positioned right in the middle.

5. Create a lens holder with the rectangle tool. This is to create a rectangle. When it's finished, draw the ends with the shape tool. The next step select the two objects then click the menu object, shaping, weld. This is to make the object no longer separate.

6. Don't be bored to make another big circle with white color and erase the outer line. Then use the transparency tool to make it transparent. Then left click on the big circle, select powerclip inside, left click on the black circle.

7. Create another one, this time forming a box, then give it a free name. How? Click the line in the box then press shift + page down. Its function is so that the name or text is under the lens.

8. Please ungroup the circle in the middle then select the transparency tool to make it transparent. Click again on the transparency tool on the oval circle and then drag on the object.

9. Now it is time to select the middle circle then click effects > lens. Then a docker window will appear. Select magnify then set the amount > apply.
