1. Open the Microsoft Office Word application.  The example here is still using the 2007 version.

 


2. Click Insert and select Picture.

 


3. After the image has been entered in the Microsoft Word worksheet click Format > Crop.

 




4. Now crop or crop the image as needed.  By left-clicking (holding) the line in each corner of the image.
